Late 2009 White Marketing completed a strategic marketing project to update and refresh an existing brand. A new client, James Hurt Building and Construction, already had an online presence and branded uniforms, vehicle signage and corporate stationery. The brief to Leigh White was to develop a slogan to communicate the brand messages, update the marketing materials and develop a tool to engage new prospects. Leigh developed a brand strategy, advised on tactics to assist in successfully cutting through in the competitive high-end residential building sector, and tools to retain front of mind positioning with their target audience. Most of JHBC's work is via repeat clients or referrals and the owner, James Hurt, takes on only one project at a time in most instances. Thus, a marketing tool was needed to ensure successful connection and engagement with each new prospect. A marketing kit was developed by White Marketing and serves as a branding tool, a resource kit to assist the new clients with their project, while also a reminder of the brand messages.
